my music of the moment-september

Music is the absolute best thing in the entire world. I’m thankful that talented people are using their gift to better our lives…woah. This music of the moment series will be sharing what I’ve been listening to recently. Enjoy 🙂 .

1. LANY – I am OBSESSED. The new-ish album is amazing and I love every single song on it. If I had to pick a favorite, it would definitely be Hericane (which doesn’t get nearly enough hype just saying).
2. Melodrama – Lorde has me going from a party mood to crying in my bed within one song. SO MUCH TALENT. I definitely can’t pick a favorite from this album since they are all so perfect, but Liability was the first one I heard and fell in love with.
3. Dear Evan Hansen – BEST MUSICAL EVER. I am seeing this musical on Broadway in October and I am so extremely excited. Ben Platt has so much pure talent and I can’t wait to finally hear him in person. Also, the message this show shares is so beautiful :’).
4. American Teen – I’m not going to pretend like I listen to this whole album. BUT, the songs I do listen to are constantly on repeat. My favorites are Another Sad Love Song, American Teen, Young Dumb & Broke, and 8TEEN.
5. Freedom Child – The Script, AKA the best band ever, finally came out with their new album. I don’t like every single song on there but I do love a few. Rain, Eden, Makeup, and Written in the Scars are my favorites. Danny O’Donoghue has such a distinct pretty voice which can be uplifting. The Script was one of the first music groups that I became a huge fan of, so they will always have a special place in my heart.

P.S. I love Ed Sheeran too much to put him on this list because he would be number one every single month
